For your consideration is this English F.B. Adams Fusee pocket watch. This watch has an English Silver date code that has an “M” and “JBWW”. JB is probably James Beebe. The case was made in 1847. The movement is marked, “F.B. Adams St. Johns Square London No. 69435.” The movement is a fusee type. It runs and keeps reasonable time. It hasn’t been serviced recently. The dial has a chip on the “0” of the subdial and a hairline that runs from chip to the edge. The crystal is a bullseye crystal and is in excellent condition. The watch is missing its key.
