For your consideration is this older street guide. The street guide is for the city of Chicago, and it was a free hand-out given to customers of The Viking Pump Company. The booklet doesn’t specify a date of publication, but it looks to be from the 1930s. Their slogan is on the back and reads, “There is at least one Viking on every street.” The collapsible book flips out from two spots, one side has 16 panels front and back, and the other has 8 panels front and back. The booklet measures 6 1/4″ tall by 2 1/2″ wide, and it was meant to fit in a vest pocket, but it opens up to be 4 feet wide! The street guide is in good condition for its age. The corners are bent, and the binding has a small tear at the bottom. There is a penciled in arrow pointing to a street as well. The cover and pages have yellowed from age, but they have a very heavy duty feel. Please see pictures for more detail, and feel free to ask any questions!
