For your consideration is this vintage Francini accordion. It is smaller than most accordions, being only 2 octaves. It has only 12 chord buttons as well. All keys and chords play fully and the sound is great. The keys retain their original covers (they have not popped off). The front has a nice chrome speaker opening. The Francini name is nearby. The bellows are in very nice condition, no rips or tears. The leather straps still hold strong. The hand strap likewise is very nice. The back of the accordion is etched “Num. 17 / 74 / Made in Italy”. This is one of the lowest (hence earliest) numbers I’ve seen for Francini’s. The width across the keyboard is 13″. Each white key is 3/4″ wide. Closed the accordion measures 12″ and is only 6 1/2″ deep. It comes with its original green felt lined case. Some of the felt on the cover has faded completely. The case measures 15″ x 14 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ and is in good condition. The clasps latch securely and the handle is firmly attached. Please see photos for more details.
