Lot of Two Wedgwood Sibley House Museum Centennial Plates St. Paul MN Red
Lot of Two Wedgwood Sibley House Museum Centennial Plates St. Paul MN Red
For your consideration is this Lot of Two Wedgwood Sibley House Museum Centennial Plates. These plates have the same picture of the Sibley House on the front but one is a darker shade of red which could be described as plum and the other color is a bright pink red color. They are both 10 inches in diameter and the base is 6 inches in diameter. There is a description on the back of both plates about who Sibley was and how the Daughters of the American Revolution turned his house into a muesum in St. Paul Minnisota. There is also a stamp on the back of plates that says Wedgwood. The brighter red plate has a copy of Sibley’s signature on the back as well as crazing and the darker red plate doesn’t have this. There is a very small chip on the edge of the bright red plate that could even be a spot that didn’t get glazed over. Other then this there are no cracks or chips anywhere else. Please see the pictures for more detail. 5811
