For your consideration is this beautiful teapot and biscuit jar set. Both feature a yellow rose with two red/pink roses with green leaves and gold floral vine accents on a creamy white back drop as its main decoration. These pieces have a scalloped foot base with embossed dots and swag. The upper portion of the pot and jar have an embossed ribbed border along with the same dotted swag as the bottom. The lids also feature this same dotted swag. The handles of the lids are a double open loop. They have a pinkish purple, green, blue luster glaze. The edges are trimmed in gold to add to the beauty of this set. The teapot measures 6″ tall (including the lid handle) with a base circumference of 4 1/4″. Counting the spout and handle, it is 6 1/2″ long. The cracker jar is 7 1/8″ counting the lid handle. It has a base circumference of 5 1/8″. Unfortunately, the only mark on the bottom is the number “7589” but these pieces are very much like what the R.S. Prussia Porcelain Factory produced. Some of the gilt shows minor wear/loss. While there are two tiny chips on the inside rim of the teapot, the pieces themselves otherwise have no chips, cracks, or crazing and have been taken good care of. Please see photos for more details.
