deration is this 35pc Tettau China Tea Set. There are two different marks on the bases and they read Konigl.pr.Tettau and Kgl-priv-Tettau. The pieces in this set are from the 1930s or 1940s and for more information on this go to www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/bavaria/tettau_1/00.php. They have a nice heavy glaze with a smooth feel to them. The following is a list of all the pieces in the set that includes their amounts, measurements, and condition:
Sugar Bowl with Lid- This bowl is 4 1/2″ tall with the lid on and it is 3 3/8″ in diameter. With the handles it is 5 1/2″ in diameter. There are no cracks or chips.
Creamer- This creamer is 4 1/2″ tall, 4 3/4″ long, and 3″ in diameter. There is a chip on the outside of the base and there is another smaller seen that is hard to see without looking at the base.
9 Cups- There are 2″ tall and 3 7/8″ in diameter. The end of the handle to the edge of the cup is 4 1/2″ long. These cups are on the thick side. There is one cup with a chip on the base and one that has a chip on the rim. Another cup has a hairline by the handle.
12 Saucers- These are 5 1/8″ in diameter. There is one saucer that has a small glaze pop from being fired on the back.
11 Dessert Plates- They measure 7″ in diameter and are 3/4″ tall. One plate has a chip on the rim as well as a small chip on the base. Their is another one with a large chip on the base.
