For your consideration is this Lot of 4 Blue Mother’s & Father’s Day Plates from 1970, 1971, and 1972. The following is a list of the plates that are included as well as their measurements, condition, and maker.
Muttertag (Mother’s Day) 1970 Plate- 7 7/8" diameter. This one is made by Bareuther in Bavaria Germany. The mark reads From the original by Ludwig Richter 1803-184 Dresden Germany.No cracks or chips.
Vatertag (Father’s Day) 1970 Plate- 7 7/8" diameter. This one is made by Bareuther as well and features the Castle Pfalz in the Rhine near Kaub. There are no cracks or chips.
Mother’s Day Plate 1972- 7 5/8" diameter. There is mother bird feeding her baby birds in the nest. There are no chips or cracks. I’m not sure what the name of the maker is, but the base reads First Issue limited edition series Made in West Germany.
Father’s Day Plate 1971- 7 5/8" diameter. This is a Berlin Design that features the Brooklyn Bridge. It was also made in West Germany. There are no cracks or chips.
