For your consideration is this 15 1/2″ tall antique Ernst Heubach doll. This shoulder doll features a bisque head with brown sleeping eyes. Unfortunately the sleeping eyes do not work, but perhaps with some rebalancing, they might open and close again. This doll also features the less common open mouth showing teeth. She has a dimple in the middle of her chin. There is small loss around the right eye. Underneath her original short blond wigged hair is a small chip. This doll also features a kid jointed construction will all her original leather and sawdust stuffing. It appears as if at one time she might have undergone minor joint repair as one of the buttons is a different color. She also has a piece of sewer’s tape across her right shoulder, but I do not believe it is there for a structural reason. The back of her shoulders is clearly marked “Heubach 275 8/0 Koppelsdorf”. She comes with what I believe is her original slip and a set of pantaloons (not original). Please look closely at the photographs for more detail.
