Description
For your consideration is this interesting antique wooden-bodied grooving plane.
This measures about 9 1/2″ in length. The iron has a blade width of about 1/2″.
The body is marked with the ‘E. Preston & Sons Trade Mark’ cartouche.
This plane is in good condition with typical wear such as finish imperfections and some dings/oxidation in the iron cutting blade. This appears to have a replacement wedge.
