For your consideration is this lot of 3 hand painted Nippon fruit bowls. The bowls feature a scene with a sunset over a lake with a sailboat and a tree on the land. The back mark is a blue Hand Painted rising sun Nippon. The mark was used between 1890-1921. The bowls are 5 1/8″ diameter and 1 1/8″ tall. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bite marks on these although one of them does have some rough spots on the bottom and one of them does have a slight hairline crack in it. There are some wear spots to the designs on both of these and one of them. There is gold trim on these on the edge and it does have some wear to it. Please see the pictures for more details.
