For your consideration is this magnificent art deco Grogan mantel clock.
The clock dial features an elegant and classically styled contrast of brass and gold tones set on simulated green marble.
The dial is marked with ‘Grogan Company Pittsburgh Paris’.
The crystal is of thick, beveled glass. The lower righthand corner has broken. The piece is still in place.
The rear of this 8″ x 6″ mechanical clock has a sturdy folding leg to support the unit in an upright position, the leg fols flat against the back when not needed. The leg is marked ‘C.H. Depose France 543-1’.
The clock does not run and will need to be serviced. There is tarnish on the brass and some scratches, but overall this is a very lovely and quite uncommon 1920s clock.
