For your consideration is this A. Klingenberg/Charles Dwenger Limoges pitcher with a mark dating the piece from the 1890s-1910. There are not many AK Limoges pitchers out there and one handpainted on the same exact black is listed in the 2005 The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges (Gaston 3rd ed) as valued at $600-700. This pitcher is hand painted initialed on the base (with a date of 1911). The design of the tankard is a multi colored blackberry bramble. This piece measures 12 1/2″ tall by 4 1/2″ in diameter at the base. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or fleabites.
