For your consideration is this Nippon (early Noritake) 4 piece handpainted porcelain set. This includes a jam/jelly bowl, dipper and underplate and also a celery tray. Each is matching with orangish red lilies and gilding with spots of enameling. The mark is shown here. It is c1910s and is by Noritake with the “Komaru” mark. The plate is 7 5/8 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches tall. The tray measures 8 1/8″ long. The 3 toed jelly bowl measures 4 1/2″ in diameter and 2″ high. The ladle measures 4 3/4″ long. The underplate is 5 3/8″ in diameter. The tray has a faint hairline on one handle (doesn’t effect use). There are no other cracks, chips, or fleabites on any other piece. There is light usage wear. The underplate has no mark, but is a matching design. The other 3 pieces are marked with the same mark.
