For your consideration is this Beautiful Hand Painted Nippon Cabin on a Lake scene. I have seen similar motifs, but I haven’t seen a large pitcher like this. On the base of the bowl there is a mark that reads Hand Painted Nippon. It has a Morimura M in a laurel wreath mark that denotes that this was made by Noritake from 1911-about 1921 click here for more info. This measures 8 1/4″ tall and holds 56 ounces. There are no cracks or chips. There is some gilding wear.
