For your consideration is this GEP telescoping fly rod. It is 102″ (8′ 6″) fully extended and 43″ (3′ 7″) when pushed together. This is has a cork handle and a metal rod. It says GEP – Rod on it. GEP (Gephart) was one of the leaders in metal fly rods in the 30’s and 40’s then graduated to producing glass rods. This change did not go well due to other companies getting the jump on metal rod companies they stayed in the metal rod business too long. There is some paint loss on the rod.
