For your consideration are these vintage occupied Japan demitasse cups and saucers.
Both of these features lovely floral motifs with hand-painted hues. The bottoms are marked ‘Made in Occupied Japan’.
Occupied Japan signifies a time between the years of 1945 and 1951 when Japan was occupied by Western forces such as the USA.
There are some minor fleabites noted to these as well as founding imperfections. One saucer has incomplete coverage of the glaze on the underside and the other is a founding crack under the glaze.
