Description

For your consideration is this lot of 4 silverplate & Pewter toothpick holders. 2 of the them are silverplate and the other 2 are pewter. The holders were made by different companies. The first one is by Homan Silver Plate Co./ Homan Mfg. Co. out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The marks on this pieces date it from between the late 1880s to the early 1900s. It has the words “Take Your Pick” on the front, and there are two handles with a Victorian style and a scalloped rim. This one measures 2″ tall by 2 1/8″ in diameter at the rim. The next one is by E.G. Webster & Sons, the mark on the base is from 1886-1928. It measures about 2 1/4″ diameter x 2 1/8″ tall. Then we have a Zinn Tin Etain Veritable cup tooth pick holder. This measures about 1 3/4″ diameter without the handle x 2 1/8″ diameter with the handle x 1 5/8″ tall. Last there is another Zinn Tin Etain Veritable toothpick holder that looks similar to a vase. This one measures about 2 1/2″ tall x 1 3/4″. Please see the pictures for more details.
