Modernist Guiseppe Macri SIGNED Sculpture 1969 Moses Ten Commandments L5Z

For your consideration we are offering this Limited Large Guiseppe Macri sculpture of “Moses and the Ten Commandments” signed and copyrighted 1969. This imposing Mid-Century Modernist sculpture depicts a hulking Moses holding the two tablets containing the Ten Commandments on his lap. This Moses is cast in a very heavy material, seems to be resin but others have listed the identical item as bronzed foundry stone. It is securely fixed to a square stone base, with a felt bottom. Stands just over 11″ tall on a 6″ by 5.5″ stone base. The back of the sculpture is inscribed with “MACRI 1969” and a copyright “Sc ©”, which refers to the Sculpture Club of the 1960’s. The sculpture has a very dark finish with greenish highlights that show up under bright light. It is a stunning piece! Please see pictures for more details.
