Description
Here we have a wonderful acrylic painting on canvas, by artist Marge Meyer (date unknown). It measures 19 1/2″ long and 14 3/4″ wide within the frame, and 24 1/2″ x 19 1/2″ overall.
This painting is rich with summer color. You can almost smell the humid grass growing along the narrow boardwalk. It reminds me of an area around Lake Harriet, in Minneapolis.
The frame is solid wood, and matches the deep browns and olive greens in the painting to perfection. There is a subtle, pressed design on the frame that adds an element of depth to the painting, as well.
The canvas looks to be in good shape with no bulges, tears, or dents. The frame has a few scratches and the edges are worn, but the corners are tight and strong. No other blemishes or defects noted. 16103jas
