For your consideration is this original watercolor painting by artist Master Ali Chitsaz علی چیت ساز Studio Demon matted and framed. This painting depicts an Old Man The colors featured in this painting are soft and muted blues, off-white, browns and currant red. The piece is signed “A. Chitsaz Studio Demonl 1954 Tehran”. It measures about 15- 1/8” wide by 18- ¼”tall including frame. This piece is in very good shape with a few light scuffs on the frame. Please see pictures for further detail.
BIOGRAPHY: َAli Chitsaz was an early Iranian pioneer artist who studied at the Kamalolmolk school with masters such as Esmail Ashtiani & Mahmoud Olia. He was a classmate of artists such as Ahmad Katouzian & Esfandiar Ahmadiyeh. Chitzas’s mastery is portraiture and painting figures from everyday life.
