Description
For your consideration is this charming locket. It features what appears to be a sterling silver heart with a milky-white mother of pearl inlay. On top of the inlay is a silver cross with 7 clear rhinestones. Portions of the heart appear to be either gold filled or have a gold shell on the silver. The back is chased with a simple straight line design. The hinge and clasp are in good shape. The chain is marked “B&N 1/20 12K GF”. Bugbee & Niles first used the B&N marking in 1913. The bail is marked Sterling. The locket itself is NOT marked. While the locket is in the style of Bugbee & Niles and appears to be sterling with gold shell or filled, we are not claiming that it is any of these. Please see pictures for more details.
