Vtg Johann Seltmann Vohanstrauss JSV Germany Iridescent Luster Rose Round Bowl

Description

For your consideration is this decorative JSV Johann Seltmann Vohanstrauss Germany porcelain round vegetable or fruit bowl. This bowl has an off-white base with iridescent purple around the rim and iridescent apricot colored corkscrew like curls on the rim. There is a pink, yellow and white rose and leaf design in the interior middle. The rim has a scrolled-rippled shape.  It measures about 11″ in diameter by 3″ tall. It is marked on the bottom with J.S.V. Germany in light green which dates this piece between 1911 – 1932. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bite marks on it. There are two interior areas of glaze skip near the rim. One is 1/2″ and the other is 1/4″. There is some minor interior use scratches. Please see the pictures for more details
