For your consideration is this souvenir plate with a motif of the late 1800 to mid-1900’s painting of “Rounding Hell Gate” of the Colorado Midland Railroad in the center of the plate. This piece has a white base coat glaze with an opalescent green band and gilded design around the rim. The front also reads “Souvenir of Riceville, Iowa”. The back of the plate bears the “Trenle China Co Virginia” mark. It measures about 7 ½” in diameter. This piece is in good condition with no chips or cracks and light crazing throughout.
