Description
For your consideration is this vintage brass and glass German Kundo anniversary clock.
This highly ornamental timepiece features glass-paneled front and sides with etched floral embellishments.
The dial is nicely decorated and emblazoned with the Kundo logo as well as West Germany marking.
The base is marked ‘Kienenger & Obergfell Made in Germany’.
This measures about 10″ tall, 8″ wide, and 5.75″ deep.
There is a pendulum lock located at the rear.
This is operated by way of a single LR14 1.5 volt C cell battery. I installed a battery and the clock did not run. Evidently, it will require service.
The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks noted.
There is a spot of oxidation noted on the rear of the metal case.
