For your consideration is this vintage WWII 1942 J. De Valk Amsterdam, Netherlands leather frog and Italian Terni bayonet and leather scabbard. The leather frog is marked as J. De Valk A’dam. The bayonet is marked Terni. The scabbard has a brass throat and frog stud and chape on the end. The bayonet has a wood grip, a metal pommel with a press stud and the marks “ORG 1216” on the crosspiece. The blade measures about 12” long and the bayonet in total measures about 16” out of sheath and 17 ¾” in sheath. This piece is in solid condition. The leather is in good condition with slight wear on the frog handle and the bayonet crosspiece and pommel is rusted a bit. The blade has a used patina. Please see pictures for further details.
