For your consideration is this late 1940’s Elgin 8/0 size pocket watch for repair or parts. The hands are blued steel; the second hand has a pointer which is red. The dial has Arabic Numbers with seconds marked off and numbered by 5’s. It is the Shockmaster Version of Nurse’s watches. The crystal has some usage wear scratches. The case is marked inside “Cased and Timed by Elgin National Watch Co. Star Case Watch Co. Sterling Silver 5916 T142141”. The case measures 27.3 mm in diameter not including the pendant nor watch band fob which has broken off. This can be worn as a pendant. It is missing the watch pin for wearing this as a wristwatch.
