Antique Lemaire Fab Paris Field Opera Glasses Binoculars Leather Small Case L6Y

For your consideration is this early 1900’s pair of Lemaire Fabricant Binoculars. They measure 3 7/8” by 2 1/8” when closed and 2 7/8” when it is open. The lenses are clear. The adjustable focal wheel turns very hard. The leather shows rubbing, but is intact. The lenses are marked “Lemaire Fabt Paris” with their trademark bee. The bridges are marked with various markings including the bee with “23”, “61 Made in France” and “32118”. The original case is made of leather. The bottom stitching is coming out and the liner has rips and tears. The outer leather is in good condition for its age. The clasp is complete and works well.
