For your consideration is this Early 1900s HP Morimura Nippon Octagon Shaped Nappy Dish. It is 5 5/8″ in daimeter and 2″ tall with the handle. There is a small amount of loss to the gilding and the design has a small amount of loss but is mostly intact. The green mark on the back of the dish reads Hand Painted Nippon. It has a capital M with a wreath and this mark has been used since 1911 according to the Collector’s Encyclopedia of Nippon Porcelain Identification & Values Fifth Edition by Joan F. Van Patten.
