Description
For your consideration is this 1920s Moriyama Mori-Machi Hand Painted Japanese Moriage Dragon Vase. The vase is 7 1/2″ tall and 4 3/8″ diameter. The diameter of the top is 2 1/2″ in diameter and the base is 2 3/4″ in diameter. It has many colors and the head of the dragon protrudes from the vase. There is a mark on the base that reads M (moriage) Hand Painted Japan. It stands for Moriyama Mori-Machi and dates from 1926-1929 (see site). This vase is in good condition with no cracks or chips and it is usable. Most of the design is intact with vibrant colors. There is some loss to a few sections with gilding including the dragon head.
