Description
For your consideration is this manual winding vintage men’s or women’s wristwatch movement that is running for repair. The movement runs in multiple positions, but the balance will stop unexpectedly sometimes and the timing cannot be tested without the hands. The Swiss movement was made by Bulova in 1949, and it is the caliber 8 AD model featuring an excellent white rectangle dial and sunken subdial with gold-tone bar & numeral markings and a nice hidden lug Art Deco case design. The 17 jewel movement comes cased in a 10K yellow gold filled Bulova case with a snap on backing, and it measures 24mm tall (without lugs) by 21mm wide with lugs that have an inside measurement of 15mm. The item is missing the crystal and hands, and there is some wear to the bezel and humidity spots on the dial. Please see pictures for more detail, and feel free to ask any questions!
