Description
For your consideration is this manual winding vintage men’s wristwatch that is running for parts or repair. The balance is free and advances the escapement, but the movements stops after a few seconds. The movement is also tightly wound. The Swiss watch was made by Bulova in 1953, and it is the caliber 10 BT “Director” model featuring an barrel shaped dial and sunken sudial with gold-tone Arabic numeral markings. The watch comes with an exquisite checkered design Uniflex 1/20th 10K yellow gold filled expansion band. The 15 jewel movement comes cased in a 10K yellow rolled gold plated bezel and stainless steel cushion snap-on backing that measures 27mm tall by 25.5mm wide with lugs that have an inside measurement of 16mm. The item is missing the second hand and crystal, and the barrel dial has heavy wear. The band and bezel are very nice with a great luster.
