Description
This beautiful Eastlake Buffet is made of walnut and features burled walnut panels and columns and was crafted in about 1880-1910. The hand-carved details on this piece are simply astounding. There are cattails going down the curved top, geometric patterns, fan cornices, and more. The mirror is flanked by candle shelves of decent size. The buffet has two pullout drawers with dovetail joinery. The base drawers open to reveal a shelf on the left and four pull-out drawers on the right. The original marble top has some scratches that could likely be buffed out. There is also a crack running down the center leading to a chip on the edge. There is some damage to the burled oak on the right column. This piece will come apart into three sections for moving. The base stands 38″ tall while the upper mirror piece is an additional 57″ giving you a total of just over 8 feet of height. This piece is 54″ long and 27″ deep. Please see photos for more detail of this unique piece.
