For your consideration is this nice old coopers croze plane tool.
The unit measures about 18″ in overall width.
The iron is marked ‘Buck Bros. Cast Steel’. This appears to be a wood gouge that was repurposed to replace the original iron as well as a hand-fitted wedge. The iron does not fit properly.
The condition is good overall, with the wood showing wear and some chips, and some play between the base and the block. The iron has some oxidation.
