Description
Here is this antique and hard to find Doulton Lambeth motto salt glaze mug. This mug has a Doulton Lambeth mark and a code mark of 096. This is from the late 19th century or into the early 20th century. The motto says, “The more the merrier The fewer the better cheer.” This measures 4 3/4″ in height and 4 1/4″ in base diameter. This antique mug is in good condition. It does have a fleabite on the rim and one dot is nicked around the base.
