Antique Italian Kalian Soldered Brass Oil Can 8" Height | ref 23019
For your consideration is this vintage or antique Kalian oil can made in Italy. This was likely imported by Kalian NYC and is stamped ‘Made in Italy’ on the bottom. This stands about 8″ in height and the base diameter is about 4 1/2″. This would be a nice item for display. The lid hinge has broken and there are losses to the lid metal. There is tarnish and dents/dings consistent with the age. This appears to have been used for motor oil or something similar as there is a thick black tarry substance at the bottom.
