For your consideration is this very nice rabbet plane. This measures about 9.5″ in length. The iron has a blade width of about 1 5/8″ The wooden body of this piece is marked ‘J.E. Childs’ on one end and ‘Prov. Tool Cast Steel’ on the iron. The condition of this piece is good with typical signs of use and wear, including some cracks to the wooden body.
