Description
Up for sale is this lot of antique pocket watch parts. These are good for parts, art, or just for fun. There are 12 barrels. The barrel is what holds the mainspring for the pocket watches…like a powerhousing. These are steel or silver in color (they don’t have silver content). Not all of these have their caps. These are from pocket watches of the late 1800s to early 1900s. The largest measures 13/16″ in diameter. There is also a gold colored train bridge. I think that the barrels could be used almost as a sun pendant or perhaps even as a locket! At least one of the caps is nicely damaskeened.
I bought this out of a watchmaker’s estate whose family business had been in operation for 94 years.
