Description
For your consideration is this delicately hand-painted LS&S Limoges plate. This plate has an scalloped rim with the scalloped ribs reaching in. The edge is gilded and features gilded scrolls coming in as well. Near the edges are delicately painted light pink and yellow wildflowers on a cream background. The pink wildflowers’ petals are slightly raised. The back of the plate is marked with the “LS&S Limoges France” blue mark. It also has a green “France” mark. There is also a green “B” that looks like someone added with a marker. I have not tried to take it off. It measures 8 1/2” diameter. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
