In our store we offer this antique oak cube rocking chair in the Empire Style. Because of its square shape, it has earned the name cube chair. It has been reupholstered within the last 30 years or so with nice soft burgundy fabric and connected brass tacks. This has a very nice spring seat is extremely comfortable to sit in. The inner seat measures 20″ x 20″. The total back height (floor to rounded top) is 32 1/2″. Floor to arm top is 24″. Floor to top of oak seat frame is only 12″, plus the covered seat on top of that. There is a slight repair to the upper left ide of the rocker. The rocker length is approximately 32″ straight across. This piece is sturdy.
