Description

For your consideration is this antique water pitcher. This piece features a couple Folk dancing. This piece features a style of paint called Copper Lusterware. This technique gives certain colors of paint a Copperish look when turned in the light. This technique was used on Pearlware in the 1820-50’s and was hand painted. It still has the price tag from the Hudgins Gallery in St Paul, MN from when it was purchased there. This Pitcher would make a great addition to your collection. Measurements – 8 3/4″ tall. 7″ from handle to spout, the base is 5″ in diameter.

Condition – This piece is in good condition for it’s age. There is a chip on the rim that has a small faint hairline, with a few smaller chips around it. On the handle is also some chipping in an area. There are a few smaller chips in the glaze on the body of the pitcher as well as crazing.
