For your consideration is this Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Nippon Bowl of an Autumn Scene with leaves changing colors and the grass turning a lovely golden brown. There is a white building in the background and pastel colors of pink and purple in the sky. On the base of the bowl there is a mark that reads Hand Painted Nippon. It has a Morimura M in a laurel wreath mark that denotes that this was made by Noritake from 1911-about 1921 click here for more info. The diameter of the bowl is 9 inches but with the handles it’s 10 1/2 inches. The edge of the bowl and the handles are gilded. There are some light utensil marks in the bowl and one very small spot on the tree where the paint chipped off. Some wear to the gilding on the handles is present which will be shown in the pictures.
