Description

For your consideration is this Empire 6-Lever Padlock made by Miller Lock Company of Philadelphia PA. This particular padlock dates to the early 1900s.  These locks were a less expensive version of the Champion which was cast from gun metal, instead of bronze like the Empire. This is a push-key lock (not turn-key). Unfortunately we do not have a key for it.  It measures 2 1/4″ diameter. It has the shorter shackle. It is a double pin or Double ear (as denoted by the little piece near the Es in Empire on the front. This has some dings on it, but you would too if you were 120 years old!  Please see photos for more detail.
