Federal Glass Georgian Lovebirds Green Depression Butter Dish Dome Cover L1A

For your consideration we are offering this beautiful green depression glass butter dish w/ domed cover. The pattern is known as “Georgian Lovebirds” produced by the Federal Glass Company 1931-1935. Both the lid and bottom are in great condition other than a small chip in the lower plate and a couple flea bites on the domed lid edge.This glass is also know as Vaseline glass as it will glow when put under a black light. This glass glows because it contains uranium which was commonly used in making green and some yellow depression glass. Please see pictures for more details.
