For your consideration is this very nicely carved set of wooden elephants.

There is a mother which measures about 6′ in length and is fixed in a trumpeting pose, and her 4″ baby calf is a mirror image of her.

They are hand-carved of an attractively grained hardwood. They are likely souvenirs of India.

The condition of both pieces is good, however, they are both missing their tusks.
