Description
For your consideration is this large vintage Asian style pottery vase. The vase has a fluted rim opening and two ornate handles. It has a misting and blending of matte moss green, bronze and coral paint as its background color with a large motif of hand painted rusty orange and coral poppies and green leaves and coral and gold colored ornate bands framing the motif. The designs and motif are outlined in a raised coral glaze with touches of gilding. It measures about 15 3/4″ tall by 7 1/4″ diameter with 9″ from handle to handle and a 6″ top rim. This piece is in good used condition. The hand painting is in very good condition, however there are a few hairline cracks and a few small chips on the bottom base rim.
