For your consideration is this lot of 3 Alfred Meakin Staffordshire Calendar plates. They are from 1979 and have a brown transferware pattern on them. They say God Bless Our House Throughout 1979 on the front. The back says Alfred Meakin Staffordshire England, A hand engraved pattern applied under the glaze, detergent and acid resisting colour. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bite marks on the plates. 1 of the plates has what looks like a chip on the back of it, but I think it is from when they glazed the plate, since it is in the same spot as where they had it on the stand when glazing it. Please see the pictures for more details.
