Sanborn Original Miniature Silver Set Soup Tureen Platter Ladle Cup Saucers Bowl
For your consideration is this lovely set of Sanborns silver miniatures. There are a total of 19 pieces. Included in this set is a 3” diameter platter featuring an over/under shell pattern around the edge. The bottom has the original “Sanborns” sales sticker with the list price of $352 with $14 tax. The soup tureen comes complete with a small turquoise cabochon and a 1 ⅜” long ladle.The tureen stands 1 ⅜” tall and is 1 ½” wide, including the figure eight handles. Also included in this set are six (6) soup bowls/cups that measure ½” diameter and stand ⅜” tall, four (4) teacups that measure ½” diameter and 5/16” tall, and five (5) saucers/plates that measure ⅝” diameter. These pieces are unmarked, but Sanborns is known for its sterling silver and the set shows its need for silver cleaning if desired. We have NOT cleaned or polished this set.
