This depicts a folksy scene of a bride and groom being greeted by celebrants. The script reads ‘Bauernhochzeit Der Empfang’, meaning ‘Peasant Wedding, the reception’.
The colors are attractive and earthy, well contrasted by the pristine white of the pottery.
This mug stands about 5.5″ in height.
