For your consideration is this Victorian Majolica Art Pottery Fan & Scroll with Insect Pitcher. It has an English Registry mark but I can’t read what it says. It measures 6 1/2″ tall, 7″ long, 5 3/4″ in diameter. The diameter for the top opening is 4 3/4″. This pitcher is in fair condition with some nice detail and color. There are four hairlines that are at the top edge of the pitcher and they move down and there are no chips. This piece also has heavy crazing. I got the information about the name of the pattern from a book entitled The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Majolica An Identification & Value Guide by Mariann Katz-Marks.
