Description
For your consideration are these two lovely cruets and a teacup with a saucer. These pieces feature the “Blazing Cornucopia” pattern, otherwise called “Paisley” or “Golden Jewel.” This pattern display lots of swirling faceted details, elegant curved handles, and alternating rows of amethyst stained thumbprints. The bottom of both the cup and saucer have the EAPG trade cut of a star. On the top of the cruets as well as the cup, there is gold stain. The cup’s stain is in good condition compared to many EAPG pieces found today. The stoppers in the cruets have cut designs on the top of them indicating they go with the pieces and are not replacements. The measurements are as followed:
Cruets:
7″ tall with stopper in
6 1/4″ without
4 1/2″ wide approximately
Teacup:
2 1/8″ tall
3 1/4″ diameter
4 1/2″ from handle across
Saucer:
1 1/2″ tall
5 1/4″ diameter
There is some wear to the gold and amethyst stain. Please see our pictures for more detail. Thank you!
